Position Details: Job Type : part-time, permanent Vacancy : This posting is for a current vacancy Compensation : $20.00 an hour + gratuities AI Disclosure : Your application will be reviewed by our hiring team About the role: The Maître D’ leads front-of-house service during events, helping the team provide attentive service and keep each event running smoothly.

You’ll welcome guests, coordinate with the kitchen and management, and respond to changing needs throughout the event.

Responsibilities

Acting as the on-site ambassador for the venue, confidently representing Carmen’s Group with professionalism and warmth Lead and coordinate the front-of-house team during events from start to finish Welcome guests, respond to requests, and address concerns professionally Review menus to ensure knowledgeable service and communicate allergies, special meals, and guest preferences Monitor service timing, food presentation, and event flow Assist with food and beverage service and clearing as needed Keep the team informed and focused when plans change Work with the Banquet Manager and share feedback after events Additional duties as assigned to support event execution What we are looking for: Experience in banquets, catering, restaurants, or another busy service setting Valid Smart Serve certification is required Availability for evenings, weekends, event-based hours, and closing shifts is required Reliable transportation for late-night shifts; a valid driver’s license and vehicle are preferred Clear communication and leadership skills, along with the ability to guide and support a team A welcoming approach and commitment to excellent guest service The ability to stay calm and make sound decisions during event service Dependability and a hands-on approach to work Why Work for Carmens Group?
