Managing Consultant, Strategy & Finance Transformation - Minneapolis

The Role We're looking for senior consulting athletes who are excited to stretch beyond their current lane. If you’ve cut your teeth in strategic finance transformation, process, or project management — and want to do more strategic, cross-functional, client-facing work, this is your next step.

What You'll Do

Support the design and delivery of future-state finance processes, operating models, and reporting structures Provide finance business consulting services to advise clients on improving business performance Guide clients on transforming the finance operating model through enhanced processes, enabling technologies, organizational roles, and smarter reporting systems Analyze data, document findings, and prepare recommendations for implementing new financial systems and procedures Support the design of varying finance operating models, including shared services and outsourcing Assist clients with planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting services Consolidate finance functions across business units to achieve cost savings Manage a workstream or small team in the delivery of client engagements Remain flexible to work on broader strategic initiatives such as: Cost optimization M&A integration ERP mobilization Program governance Other enterprise transformation opportunities Finance leaders who trust us to help modernize their organizations A collaborative team of consultants who enjoy solving real business problems Practice leaders who invest in your growth and provide space to lead when ready Colleagues who keep things thoughtful, humble, and fun — even under pressure Relevant experience in business consulting or finance transformation roles Leadership of finance transformation initiatives that could include: Process improvement Financial modeling ERP or finance systems transformation Global business services / outsourcing Financial planning & analysis (FP&A) Order to Cash Procure to Pay Digital Record to Report Excellent communication skills and comfort working in team-based environments Desire to learn, grow, and challenge the status quo A knack for bringing structure to chaos Work on transformations that matter, not slide decks that sit on shelves Real responsibility and ownership over how work gets delivered and how clients experience us Direct access to firm leadership and influence over how we grow and evolve A culture that values depth over optics, outcomes over activity, and people over process The chance to grow your career in a firm that's scaling thoughtfully and intentionally, not just chasing growth for growth's sake
