Maintenance Worker III-Streets

To perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled tasks in the construction, maintenance and repair of City streets and related facilities.  This is the full journey level class within the Maintenance Worker series.  Employees within this class perform a full range of duties as assigned under general supervision.  This levels receive only occasional instruction or assistance as new or unusual situations arise, and are fully aware of the operating procedures and policies of the work unit.

Positions in this class are flexibly staffed and are normally filled by advancement from the II level, or when filled from outside, require directly related work experience.
