Maintenance Specialist I

The Weekend Maintenance Specialist I is responsible for providing routine facility maintenance, responding to maintenance requests, and supporting the safe and reliable operation of NMC Health's buildings, equipment, and infrastructure during scheduled weekend hours. This position performs basic preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting while maintaining a safe and functional environment for patients, visitors, medical staff and employees.

This is a Part-Time/Weekend Days role Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and responding to maintenance requests, and supporting safe, reliable operation of NMC Health's buildings, equipment, and infrastructure during scheduled weekend hours. Perform basic preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting facility issues.

Support department operations and complete additional duties as assigned Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience: Experience in maintenance within a hospital or healthcare setting desirable Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems desirable Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Basic computer skills for documentation and work orders Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Licensure, Registration, or Certification: Previous relevant work experience is preferred Join our Team!
