Pay Rate:The pay rate for this job is $16 - $16 / hour*What you'll be doing as a Warehouse Laborer:Perform restoration and clean-up activities, including demolition, emergency flood service, restorative drying, fire and smoke damage cleaning, and deodorization.

Handle storm clean-up, such as debris removal, general cleaning, and demolition of affected areas. Set up site protection, including protective shoe covers and floor mats. Perform interior and exterior painting, finishing, light repairs, and specialized cleaning as needed. Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and facilities.

Ensure work is completed according to the supervisor's specifications. Dispose of trash and recycling properly. Opens, closes, stacks, moves, organizes waste containers as directed. Loads and unloads trailers using forklifts, manual drum dollies, pallet jacks, or other equipment, and other conveyances, moves supplies and materials to proper location by wheelbarrow or hand truck, etc.

Use a hand shovel and rake to keep yard level, mixing sludges or liquids, etc.Available shifts:Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), Weekends. Job requirements:Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with People. Ready. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Previous forklift training a plus.

Knowledge of pumps, air compressor, and other industrial equipment is a plus. Position consists of standing for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting containers weighing up to 50 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for handling, to work with such hand tools as outdoor tools, shovels, wrenches, screwdrivers, wire cutters, etc.

Work is primarily performed outdoors, but may also be performed in a warehouse or on a truck dock. Work is often performed in adverse conditions including inclement weather such as high humidity, heat, cold, high wind, rain, and various local conditions. Employee may be exposed to sharp objects and may be exposed to some heat, loud noise, chemicals, and vibration.

Use of personal protective equipment is provided and mandatory, where required. Background check and drug tets required.
