Engineering Intern

Engineering Intern – Job Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering / Construction Support Intern to assist the Engineering Department with operational support, process documentation, reporting, and cross-functional coordination. This role offers hands-on experience supporting operational processes, plan design and review, supplier management, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Vehicle Tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the creation, organization, and updating of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and training guides. Support supplier onboarding by collecting required documentation. Review and update outdated documentation as needed. Ability to learn and assist the CAD Drafter with civil design layouts, AutoTURN, vehicle tracking, and warehouse layouts to support all teams within Logisticus.

Assist the Director of Engineering and Engineering Manager with miscellaneous tasks . Attend meetings, capture structured notes, track action items, and distribute recap summaries. Support team on bids through RFQ development, supplier engagement, pricing analysis, and proposal creation. Provide general operational support as needed, including shipping assistance and running miscellaneous errands.

Assist construction team with documentation management and creation.

Qualifications

In school for a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree. Strong willingness to learn and grow within a professional environment. Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.

Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments. Comfortable using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multple tasks effectively.
