Temporary Custodian (GPS)

Glendive Public Schools is looking for Temporary Custodian(s) to help keep our school(s) clean, safe, and running smoothly. This is a great short-term opportunity for someone looking to earn extra income without a full-time commitment. College students are welcome to apply.

About the Role

This is an as-needed position, used to assist with special projects or provide coverage when we are short-staffed.

What You'll Do

Clean classrooms, restrooms, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors Empty trash and restock supplies Set up and take down furniture and equipment for school activities and events Perform minor repairs and report maintenance needs Help maintain school grounds and outdoor areas Respond to spills and unexpected clean-up needs Secure the building at the end of shifts What We're Looking For: Dependable and able to work independently Strong attention to detail and time management Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout shifts Experience is a plus, but not required Ability to complete required pre-employment screenings, including a custodial physical Why This Role?
