School Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Romeoville IL

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a contract position within our school setting. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will have the important responsibility of assisting students in overcoming speech and language difficulties, allowing them to effectively communicate and achieve their full academic potential.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• State licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• ASHA CCC certification.
• ISBE PEL (professional educator license).
• Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
• Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and treatment approaches.
• Ability to conduct thorough evaluations and interpret assessment results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, parents, and school staff.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome communication challenges. Salary $60 - $65 per hour
