Shifts: Variable, depending on production and company needs. Overtime as necessary. Description of Work Place: The work for this position takes place in production facilities.

The production rooms are equipped with a refrigeration system that sustains the temperature at 35°-45° F. The room is also equipped with long tables used for processing meat products; machinery used to grind meat; warehouse machinery and conveyor belts to transport boxes. The room is well-lit and has a level concrete floor that at times can be wet.

The production room is also equipped with a loading dock and heavy-duty rack shelving to house product. Description of Job tasks: Ensure proper labeling of product Vacuum pack product using appropriate machinery Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area throughout shift Adhere to GMPs and safety protocols Complete necessary paperwork as assigned Physical Requirements/Environment: Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials Requires prolonged standing during work hours Requires stooping, kneeling, bending and reaching Must work in noisy and crowded environments Must work in and around odors Must work in lower temperature environment (35°-45° F) Safety Clothing/Equipment: Must comply with company dress code Layered clothing is advised Company Provided: helmet, smock, gloves, hair and beard net Non-slip shoes or boots Optional: Back brace and/or other safety equipment available at employee request Qualifications for Job: Completed application Pass pre-employment physical and drug test Availability to work long hours and weekends Basic math Ability to lift 80 lbs.
