Job description
i. Refract is seeking a couple motivated and caring Optometric Techs to open a new location in East Peoria, Illinois! Optometric Technicians are integral members of our team and they are truly a "jack of all trades", plus customer-service oriented, reliable, and hardworking. Duties Include Pre-test patients by performing pre-exams Verification of insurance and handling payments Schedule patient appointments Ensure proper check-out procedures Perform business and administrative tasks, such as maintaining order records, keeping track of patients' prescriptions, answering phones, medical billing, and ordering/maintaining inventory Requirements & Qualifications Previous direct experience in the eyecare industry preferred Passionate about providing exceptional customer service and excellent communication skills Great personality Strong drive and ability to take initiative Detail-oriented, efficient, and accurate multi-tasker Why You’ll Love this Opportunity Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation (commensurate with experience), PTO, Holidays, 401k, etc.
