Substitute Bus Driver 2026-27

The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for substitute bus drivers for the 2026-27 school year. Substitute bus drivers have the opportunity to fill permanent positions. This is an exciting career opportunity. Individuals must have the ability, patience and self-motivation to create a pleasant and safe transportation experience for students of all ages.

Paid training is provided ($15.50 per hour) to obtain NYS CDL class. *Applicants must be fingerprinted and cleared for employment for the NYS Education Department before employment begins.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be able to pass required physical (good hearing, vision of at least 20/10 with or without glasses, blood pressure equal to or less than 160/90) and pass the NYS class B CDL road test. Salary/Rate of Pay: $25.00 per hour Appointment : This is a 10 month position during the school year, September through June, with summer opportunities available.
