Medical Assistant - Mmg Lawton Physical Medicine

DEFINITION: The Medical Assistant (MA) is accountable for assisting in the delivery of patient care in the clinic during office hours. The medical assistant is accountable to the Physician/Provider, Office Supervisor, Department Director, patient and family for patient care functions. Patient population includes: all age groups to include children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Graduated from a Medical Assistant Program. Provides documentation showing completion of the medical assistant program; which needs to be presented at time of hire allowing the hospital to verify completion.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

One to two years physicians’ office experience, as a MA, preferably primary care.
