As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), you'll be an important part of that mission. You'll work alongside physicians, advanced practice providers and our wellness team to help patients make sustainable changes in nutrition, weight management, diabetes management and overall wellness.

Travel: Approximately 40% Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Tuesday: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, depending on business needs Typical rotation: Every Monday and Friday – Osceola 1st and 3rd Wednesday – Oviedo Every Thursday – Apopka Additional coverage in the Central Florida Division as needed What You'll Do As an RDN, you will: Provide individualized nutrition counseling and wellness coaching Educate patients on healthy eating, weight management and disease-specific nutrition Provide diabetes nutrition education and counseling to patients and families Use motivational interviewing to help patients identify and achieve realistic goals Partner with onsite medical providers to support patient care plans Develop and participate in wellness programs, seminars, webinars and educational events Help create awareness of available wellness services and resources Provide recommendations and updates for the wellness section of the patient portal Support client Wellness Committees and Wellness Coordinators Develop educational and promotional materials for wellness programs and events Provide face-to-face and telephone support to patients Collaborate with the wellness team to promote healthier lifestyles throughout the patient population What We're Looking For Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field Minimum of 1 year of clinical RDN experience Current, unrestricted Florida licensure Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding Experience with motivational interviewing Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) Knowledge and commitment to HIPAA and patient privacy Strong presentation and public-speaking skills Ability to effectively educate and coach individuals and small groups Excellent written and verbal communication skills Positive, personable and team-oriented approach Preferred Certifications Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) Tobacco Treatment Specialist (CTTS) What We Offer We believe our employees should have the opportunity to enjoy their work while making a meaningful difference in the lives of the people they serve.
