Physical Therapist (PT) – Home Health | Union City, NJ | PRN & Part-Time | $65–$85 Per Visit. Stern at Home Therapy is hiring a Physical Therapist (PT) to provide one-on-one care to patients in their homes in and around Union City, NJ . Choose between part-time W-2 employment with benefits or a flexible PRN opportunity based on your availability.

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist looking to build a steady part-time caseload or add flexible PRN visits to an existing schedule without the double-booking, high-volume productivity expectations, and clinic politics common in traditional outpatient settings. Treat one patient at a time, manage your availability, and provide individualized care with support from an established clinical and administrative team.

What You'll Do

As a Physical Therapist with Stern at Home Therapy, you will evaluate and treat a primarily geriatric patient population in their homes throughout the Union City area.

Responsibilities include

Perform physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care. Provide one-on-one treatments based on each patient's functional needs and goals. Manage individualized treatment plans with clinical autonomy. Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, safety, and overall function. Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and members of the clinical team. Coordinate with our administrative team regarding scheduling, patient care, and logistics. Manage your caseload based on your availability and patient needs.

Compensation

Part-Time W-2: $65 per follow-up visit. $75 per 4-unit evaluation. PRN: $72 per 4-unit follow-up visit. $85 per evaluation.

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in New Jersey required. Reliable transportation required. Strong clinical, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently in a home-based setting. Home health experience is preferred but not required.
