Grounds Technician II

Description: See attached job description Job Summary: This position is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the Athletic Fields.

Responsibilities

the maintenance, repair, painting, fertilizing, spraying cultural practices and mowing the athletics fields, fertilization, irrigation, field painting and preparation for athletic contests, game day set up.

Qualifications

Education/Certification: Valid Texas driver's license Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to understand detailed written or oral instructions Ability to communicate effectively Ability to operate power-driven equipment Experience: Experience in athletic filed maintenance is strongly desired. Considerable experience in the operation and maintenance of athletic field facilities is preferred.
