Grant and Development Manager

Role Overview

The Grants and Development Manager steers grant discovery, writing, submission, tracking, and reporting for YMCA of the Roses and Y Community Development Corporation. This role turns program priorities into winning funding requests, keeps awarded grants on track and compliant, and builds smooth systems so institutional support keeps charging forward. You'll also be a key player in Advancement-helping energize the Annual Campaign, strengthen donor/prospect engagement, support Pennsylvania tax-credit programs, and drive fundraising initiatives that expand community impact.

What you'll do

• Identify and assess foundation, corporate, government, and other institutional funding opportunities
• Draft and coordinate proposals, applications, LOIs, reports, and funder communications
• Oversee active awards: requirements, documentation, deadlines, and reporting for compliance
• Maintain the annual grant calendar plus tracking tools, pipeline updates, and internal status reports
• Collaborate with program leaders, Finance, and leadership to compile accurate program, budget, and outcome information
• Coordinate PA tax-credit programs (EITC, NAP): research, partner coordination, reporting, and relationship building
• Support prospect research/data analysis and help execute Annual Campaign plans, events, and follow-up

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree
• 1-3 years' experience in marketing or development (2-4 years nonprofit development/grants preferred)
• Strong research, writing, analytical, project-management, and interpersonal/communication skills
• Proficiency with standard business software; fundraising/grant databases preferred
