METHUEN PUBLIC SCHOOLS VACANCY NOTICE THE AVAILABILITY OF THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON SUFFICIENT FUNDING AND ENROLLMENT TITLE: Teachers for Timony Grammar School 21st Century After-School Program, Grades 3-6* Program Hours: As determined by the Program Manager of Community Programs (Program Manager); appx. 2.5-3 hrs.

/prog. day, Mon. through Thur. (includes planning/programming, extra time for workshops & other duties most likely required). Program planned to run tentatively from October 5th, 2026 until June 3rd, 2027, pending snow days. DATE OF OPENING: September 14, 2026 QUALIFICATIONS: Certified, team-oriented teachers in Methuen Public Schools preferred.

Prior successful experience as 21 st CCLC Prog. teacher a plus; excellent attendance record. Familiar w/ MA Curriculum Frameworks including Common Core (Gr.3-6) & 21 st CCLC SAYO rqmnts. Successful experience working with ELs, SPED, at-risk or struggling students. Excellent organizational skills and dedication to improving academic standards of all students.

Ability to work under remote and health & fitness programming conditions, and to work with i. Pads/Chromebooks, Newcomers, Esports, and STEAM & Gr. 3-6 ELA curriculum. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred for at least one position. First Aid certification and have ability to drive program/MPS van, e.g., for local field trip also a plus.

Preference given to individuals that have completed SEI endorsement. Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some of the above qualifications GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Present engaging and creative student activity that is inquiry-based interdisciplinary, hands-on/remote, and student-centered; ability to work with i.

Pads/Chromebooks and to drive program/MPS van, e.g., on field trips or for deliveries to students, if needed; and excellent attendance required Prep. of project-based proposals & curriculum templates for enrichment & remote activities req'd Administer required student SAYO-Y surveys; Assist w/ snack program and parent pick-up Attend staff meetings, field trips, workshops, & family events as planned by site coord.

and/or dir. Complete pre and post SAYOs and other required documents accurately and in a timely manner Maintain and submit student work samples as requested by site coordinator and/or the program manager Maintain and submit accurate records of attendance and snacks, follow-up w/ students regarding consistent attendance, and work w/ students in health & fitness, STEAM, & ELA focused program Communicate regularly with site coordinator, program mgr.
