System Analyst IT (ECP Payroll)

Oceana. Gold is listed on the Toronto and New York Stock Exchanges (TSX: OGC; NYSE: OGC). We are looking for an experienced System Analyst IT (ECP Payroll) to support, maintain and enhance our payroll technology environment. Working closely with Payroll, People & Culture and Finance, this role will take ownership of SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) support and enhancements, while also providing foundational support across Success.

Key responsibilities

Support and enhance SAP ECP to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Deliver payroll system upgrades, statutory changes and continuous improvements. Configure payroll schemas, personnel calculation rules, wage types and payroll controls. Maintain integrations across Employee Central, ECP, time management and finance systems.

Troubleshoot payroll, replication and interface issues through root-cause analysis. Support testing, change management, releases and system upgrades. Partner with Payroll, People & Culture, Finance and external SAP support providers. Maintain system controls, access, documentation and compliance requirements. SAP Employee Central Payroll certification is essential.

3+ years’ experience supporting or implementing SAP ECP or SAP HCM Payroll. Strong hands-on knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes and configuration. Experience with Success. Factors Employee Central to ECP integrations and data replication. Working knowledge of Employee Central core configuration. Strong troubleshooting, analytical and documentation skills.

Experience with multi-country payroll, time and attendance, finance integration, ABAP, Service. Now or complex payroll environments such as mining will be highly regarded. You will be well suited to this role if you are a practical problem-solver who enjoys working across technical systems and business teams, with a strong focus on accuracy, service and continuous improvement.
