J_1259 - Product Engineer (Mechanical - IC Engine, Engine Systems)

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support for engine-related products and systems. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve engine performance and operational issues. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate with customers, service teams, and internal stakeholders to address technical concerns.

Monitor product performance and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency. Support product testing, validation, and field issue resolution activities. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and troubleshooting guides. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to product/system enhancement projects.

Skills and Experience Required: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, or related discipline. 2 to 4 years of experience in product engineering, engine support, or technical troubleshooting. Strong understanding of IC Engines, engine systems, and related components.

Experience in diagnosing and resolving engine-related technical issues. Knowledge of root cause analysis tools and problem-solving methodologies. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test reports. Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge of Oracle, Windchill, and IMS systems for product data management, engineering change management, and lifecycle documentation.

Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) creation, management, and maintenance throughout the product development lifecycle Strong analytical mindset with a customer-focused approach. Proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation
