Job Description Position: Technical Project Manager Department: PMO Job Summary: A Technical Project Manager leads the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of technical projects. They bridge business objectives and technical execution by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, prioritizing initiatives, mitigating risks, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: ● Determine internal and external client technical requirements through research, discovery sessions, and business analysis. ● Translate business strategies into technical project roadmaps and execution plans. ● Lead end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of software and web development projects.

● Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business value and prioritize projects based on strategic impact. ● Manage and prioritize product and project backlogs with Business Analysts and Product Owners. ● Develop project schedules, milestones, resource plans, budgets, and delivery timelines. ● Coordinate developers, QA, UI/UX, DevOps, Business Analysts, and third-party vendors.

● Monitor project progress, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests. ● Ensure quality, timely delivery, and adherence to SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies. ● Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and status meetings as applicable. ● Work closely with Business Analysts to validate product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

● Provide technical recommendations when evaluating solutions and preparing business cases. ● Identify automation and process improvement opportunities to increase operational efficiency. ● Maintain project documentation including project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and lessons learned. ● Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to management and stakeholders.

● Ensure effective collaboration between internal teams, clients, and third-party partners.

● Effective management of third-party contractors and vendors. ● Efficient utilization of project resources. ● Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams. ● Consistent delivery of high-quality technical solutions aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. ● 5+ years of project management experience in software or web development. ● Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SDLC. ● Experience with Jira, Confluence, Click. Up, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. ● Strong stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

● PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications are an advantage.
