Substitute Bilingual Paraeducator Pool, Special Education

Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Principal, the Bilingual Paraeducator performs a variety of duties assisting teachers in the overall support of instructional activities for students who are enrolled in special education moderate/severe programs and/or mainstream classrooms.

Requirements

/ Qualifications Education and Experience:

• Education as required by the Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015: High school diploma or equivalent AND two (2) years of higher education study (48 semester units) OR possession of an Associate’s or higher degree OR met a rigorous standard of quality and able to demonstrate, through a formal State or local academic assessment, knowledge or and the ability to assist in instructing, reading, writing and mathematics
• Prior job-related experiences, paid or voluntary, with school-age children or children/individuals with disabilities Letter of Introduction Other (Transcripts or NCLB Certificate) Proof of HS Graduation Resume Comments and Other Information Desirable Qualifications:
