Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team in a fast-paced carbon graphite manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with precision measuring tools, the ability to read engineering drawings, and a commitment to product excellence.

Responsibilities

Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of carbon graphite products Use precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and customer specifications Document inspection results accurately using quality records, reports, and checklists Identify and report non-conformances; assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions Work closely with production and engineering to resolve quality issues Support calibration of inspection tools and equipment Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and comply with safety and quality policies Other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required.

An associate degree in quality, manufacturing technology, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong understanding of mechanical inspection methods Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Proficient in the use of inspection tools and gauges Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems a plus Schedule & Compensation: Full-time position (40 hours per week) Overtime required based on production needs We offer a generous compensation package, which includes competitive hourly up to $30.
