ABA Paraprofessional

Candlewood Lake Elementary School is seeking excellent ABA Para. Educators to join our team! Location: Brookfield Public Schools- Candlewood Lake Elementary School Position Type: Full-Time

• Including Summer School Key Responsibilities: Assist classroom teachers in supporting special needs students' learning and development. Provide one-on-one support for students with diverse learning needs. Assisting with communication, social skills development, and daily living skills. Monitor and manage student behavior to ensure a positive learning environment. Implementing behavior interventions as directed by a BCBA or special education teacher. Collecting data on student behaviors and progress.

Qualifications

Strong interest in working with students and making a positive impact in their educational journey. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit. Patience, dedication, and a passion for education. At least 60 college credits or have taken and passed the Para. Pro exam. Starting Pay Per The Collective bargaining agreement between the Brookfield Board of Education and the United Public Service Employees Union Brookfield BOE Paraeducators Local 424- unit 134 $28.
