EHS Manager

Job Description At IPS, you will apply your knowledge, skills, and passion to make a difference in the lives of people, solving complex challenges related to pharmaceutical, biotech, and animal health research and manufacturing facilities. This is a 12 month contract position with a view to extend at a competitive hourly rate. Position Responsibilities Lead the project EHS programme, ensuring compliance by the project team and all subcontractors Liaise closely with the Si. GeKo , supporting the Si. Ge-Plan and BaustellV compliance Support subcontractor EHS prequalification, Safety Plan development and implementation Participate in kick-off meetings so contractors understand project-specific EHS requirements Review contractor JSAs/RAMS against client and IPS requirements Carry out site inspections and EHS compliance audits Advise the project team on German regulations (Arb.

Ihre Aufgaben Leitung des EHS-Programms im Projekt und Sicherstellung der Compliance aller Beteiligten und Nachunternehmer Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Si. GeKo und Unterstützung bei Si. Ge-Plan und BaustellV Unterstützung bei der EHS-Präqualifikation von Nachunternehmern sowie bei Sicherheitsplänen Teilnahme an Kick-off-Meetings zur Vermittlung projektspezifischer EHS-Anforderungen Prüfung von Gefährdungsbeurteilungen/JSAs gemäß Kunden- und IPS-Anforderungen Baustellenbegehungen und EHS-Audits Beratung des Projektteams zu Arb.

SchG, DGUV, BaustellV und Kundenstandards Voraussetzungen Nachweisbare Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit dem Si. GeKo auf deutschen Baustellen Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- sowie gute Englischkenntnisse Leitende EHS-Erfahrung bei großen Bauprojekten, idealerweise Life Sciences/Pharma Wir bieten Projektvertrag: mindestens 12 Monate , mit Option auf Verlängerung Attraktiver [Tages-/Stundensatz] Start: [ab sofort / Monat] Qualifications & Requirements Proven experience working with a Si.

GeKo on German construction projects Fluent German , spoken and written, plus good English Senior EHS experience on large construction projects, ideally life sciences/pharma Bachelor’s degree or technical/vocational training preferably in Construction Safety or Engineering or a related field. 5- 10 years of construction safety experience with some pharmaceutical background in a senior capacity.

Knowledge and experience with construction safety topics such as – Fall Protection, Trenching, and Shoring, Crane Lifts, Steel Erection, Hot Work, Confined Space, Emergency Plans, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in pharmaceutical Design/Build/Validate processes. Context, Environment, & Safety May involve travel to project locations for several days to several weeks. Exemplify safety values, policies, and procedures that all IPS employees are expected to follow. All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually, with video required.
