Medical Assistant - Prior Authorization Specialist

A Medical Assistant is responsible for skilled delivery of patient care and procedures; administrating medication, knowledge of immunizations, point of care testing, experience with phlebotomy, triaging patients, and direct patient care, knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal communication, interpersonal skills, possess ability to learn new processes, tools, and equipment as required.

Efficiency in use of EMR (electronic medical records) and additional clinical tasks may be assigned.

Education

High School or GED (Preferred) Certifications: BLS RMA/CMA (Preferred)
