Tortilla Prep

Tortilla Press Operator / Tortilla Maker The Tortilla Maker is responsible for preparing fresh, house-made tortillas that are served with many of our dishes at Sí Señor Mexican Restaurant . This position helps maintain the authenticity and quality of our food by ensuring tortillas are made fresh, consistent, and available throughout service.

In addition to tortilla preparation, this role also interacts with guests who approach the tortilla station and helps maintain the cleanliness and organization of the salsa bar area. The ideal candidate is friendly, efficient, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining a welcoming attitude toward guests.

Responsibilities include

• Prepare fresh tortillas using the tortilla press and cooking equipment
• Ensure tortillas are cooked properly with consistent quality and thickness
• Prepare and portion tortilla dough as needed for daily service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tortilla preparation station
• Provide friendly and professional customer service to guests who approach the tortilla station
• Maintain and restock the salsa bar, ensuring it is clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Monitor cleanliness of the salsa bar area throughout the shift
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Clean and organize the tortilla station and salsa bar area at the end of each shift
• Assist with light kitchen prep tasks when needed Compensation $16.30 + Tips
