Role Summary

Senior mobile engineering specialist with extensive experience designing, developing, modernising, and supporting large-scale iOS, Android, and React Native applications. Responsible for end-to-end mobile solution delivery, architecture, engineering standards, CI/CD implementation, code quality, application security, and mentoring development teams.

Possesses strong expertise in both native mobile development and cross-platform mobile engineering, with experience delivering solutions across financial services, healthcare, government, telecommunications, and digital product organisations.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build scalable mobile applications using React Native, iOS, and Android technologies. Lead development teams through architecture, design reviews, coding standards, and engineering best practices. Deliver end-to-end mobile application lifecycle management including development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Drive mobile modernisation initiatives, framework upgrades, and platform enhancements. Implement secure mobile engineering practices including application hardening, SSL pinning, secure authentication, and compliance controls. Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated mobile release processes. Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, backend services, authentication platforms, and third-party SDKs.

Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and promote engineering quality and delivery excellence. Collaborate with product owners, architects, business stakeholders, and delivery teams in Agile environments.
