Assistant Crane Operator

ROLE SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting the Crane Operator will all crane and deck related activities. JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Safe and efficient execution of operations as per procedures. Thorough handovers are provided at each daily change of shift. Active participation in meeting activities. Subordinates are trained to fill higher positions.

Any other matters as deemed necessary by Company Management. Assist with:

• Deck or rig floor operations as required or directed.
• Preparation for future drilling operations.
• Organizing and supervising the deck crews.
• Maintenance of cranes and other relevant lifting appliances.

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferably a bachelor's degree: Hight school degree or any equivalent. Years of experience: at least 1 year experience in the position preferable in drilling related industry. Skills/abilities: Computer skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
