The Warehouse Technician is an important part of maintaining accurate and efficient warehouse operations.
This position is expected to take ownership of assigned responsibilities, maintain inventory accuracy, support warehouse organization, and provide dependable support to the Inventory Coordinator and Inventory Control Manager. Location: On-Site Job Type: Full- time Schedule: Fixed Overtime: No FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Travel: No Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Previous warehouse, inventory, logistics, or material-handling experience preferred Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills Ability to learn and accurately use inventory management and scanning systems Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Knowledge and experience operating a forklift preferred Ability to work independently with limited supervision Ability to prioritize tasks and manage changing workloads Ability to safely work on your feet for extended periods of time Ability to regularly lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to work safely and follow established warehouse and safety procedures Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to teamwork and accountability Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and document merchandise and equipment entering or leaving the warehouse Accurately scan equipment serial numbers and maintain inventory records for all materials received, transferred, deployed, or returned Pick, stage, package, label, and prepare equipment and materials for shipment, deployment, or transfer Identify missing, damaged, lost, or incorrectly received materials and promptly report discrepancies to the Inventory Coordinator Assist with physical inventories, cycle counts, audits, and inventory reconciliation Process and organize returned equipment, ensuring items are properly documented and stored Assist with inventory transfers and movement of equipment between warehouse locations Load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipping containers following established safety procedures Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and accurate warehouse environment Communicate regularly with the Inventory Control Manager and warehouse team regarding inventory, shipments, returns, equipment needs, and other warehouse activities Assist with training and onboarding new warehouse employees Learn equipment-testing procedures and ensure required serialized equipment is properly tested at the testing bench Prepare requested equipment and supplies needed for company trucks and vans Identify opportunities to improve warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency Work independently while maintaining appropriate communication with warehouse leadership Follow all established inventory-control, warehouse, operational, and safety procedures Perform other duties as assigned Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout an 8-hour workday Ability to regularly bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, lift, and carry materials Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds safely Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including a forklift Ability to work in a warehouse environment and perform physical inventory and material-handling activities Standard Company Benefits Include Three (3) weeks of paid time off Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage Life insurance Short-term and long-term disability insurance Retirement benefits Conexon provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
