Ultrasound Sonographer (MSK & Pain Management) – Weekend Contract**
Location:** South West England Contract Type:** Weekend locum (ad-hoc weekends) Start:** Ongoing – weekends only
Role Overview**
We are currently recruiting an experienced Ultrasound Sonographer** to support a weekend-only service** across sites in the South West**. The role is focused on musculoskeletal (MSK) ultrasound and pain management**, supporting clinics with diagnostic imaging and interventional work.
This is a flexible contract — not every weekend is required** — and availability will be coordinated as part of a rota.
Key Responsibilities**
Performing MSK ultrasound examinations**
Supporting pain management clinics**
Experience with ultrasound-guided injections or interventions** is highly desirable
Ensuring high clinical standards and patient care
Working collaboratively with clinicians and wider MDT
Requirements**
HCPC-registered Sonographer (or equivalent)
Strong experience in MSK ultrasound**
Pain management / interventional ultrasound experience** preferred
Ability to work independently in a clinic setting
Weekend availability (ad-hoc / rota-based)
Rates & Payments**
Day rate:** £80 0+ per day** (depending on experience)
Payment method:** Umbrella / PAYE
Flexible commitment — no requirement to cover every weekend
