NHC HealthCare Franklin is looking for a dependable, creative, and enthusiastic Baker/Assistant Cook to join our Food and Nutrition Services team! What you'll do

Prepare and bake desserts and other menu items for resident meals. Assist with meal preparation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Follow daily menus, production sheets, standardized recipes, and special dietary requirements. Prepare cold foods, side dishes, and other items needed for meal service. Keep the tray line refrigerator stocked, organized, and ready for service.

Assist morning and evening cooks with food preparation as needed. Help serve meals on the tray line and in the dining room. Assist with setting tables, serving residents, and clearing dining areas when needed. Wash, clean, and properly store pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen while following food safety standards.

A dependable team player with a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail, cleanliness, and food presentation. Ability to follow recipes, menus, and special dietary instructions.
