Experienced Service Advisor

Chevrolet Buick GMC of Puyallup, proudly part of the Harnish Auto Family, is looking for an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team! We are seeking someone who understands dealership service operations, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to build lasting customer relationships while driving service department success.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide an exceptional service experience from start to finish. Accurately document customer concerns and create repair orders. Recommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle needs and manufacturer guidelines. Communicate effectively with technicians, parts personnel, and customers to ensure timely repairs.

Review inspection results and clearly explain recommended services and associated costs. Provide accurate repair estimates, timelines, and regular updates to customers. Maximize service opportunities while maintaining customer trust and satisfaction. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Maintain accurate repair orders and follow dealership processes and procedures. Meet or exceed departmental goals for sales, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Previous automotive dealership Service Advisor experience required. Strong understanding of automotive maintenance, repair processes, and service department operations. Proven ability to sell recommended services and build customer relationships. Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Ability to manage a high volume of repair orders in a fast-paced environment.

Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and teamwork. Experience with dealership management systems and digital vehicle inspections preferred. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
