Triage Nurse - Advanced Primary Care (FT)

Job Description : Will provide appropriate screening, handling and routing of all incoming phone calls and ensure patient messages are taken appropriately with pertinent information via phone and/or EMR system.

Will evaluate patient needs based on level of acuity; handle prescription refills; and provide timely communication with providers regarding patient care.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing program and currently licensed by the NC (or compact state) Board of Nursing to practice as an LPN. Preferred: Experience in a medical office. Experience : No experience required. Previous experience in a medical office is preferred.
