QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Associates of Applied Science degree in Radiology, MRI Tech, or related field Experience/Skills At least one year of MRI experience Required Licenses/Certifications Indiana State Board of Health (ISBH) Licensure American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registration CPR Working Conditions Clean, well-lit working environment May work “on call” when needs require ROUTINE RESPONSIBILITIES Behavioral Expectations Consistently complies with established Behavioral Expectations Job Duties Performs MRI exams according to department protocols Ensures the MRI environment remains safe by screening all visitors and team members entering the MRI environment.

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate for patient’s age level, physical condition, mental condition, and emotional status Transports patients and assists others with patient transportation relative to patient acuity level Ensures compliance with MRI safety standards, infection control policies, and hospital policies Maintains MRI equipment Maintains a clean and organized work environment Rotate regular work schedule to accommodate vacations, illnesses, and weather conditions Recognizes duties requiring completion but not directly assigned Regularly helps other staff when needed Perform various tasks to assist the department in maintaining cohesive, efficient operation Perform other responsibilities and duties assigned Department Specific Focus Ensures all charges are documented accurately and charged out correctly Full time/Day shift 80 hours/Biweekly
