Aggregate Equipment Operator

Aggregate Equipment Operator We are seeking a skilled and dependable Aggregate Equipment Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a variety of heavy equipment used in aggregate mining, material handling, processing, and site maintenance.

Job Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate a variety of heavy equipment, including: Bulldozer, Excavator, Skid Steer, Loader, and Other mobile heavy equipment as needed. Operate and monitor a sand and gravel wash plant, including starting, stopping, and monitoring equipment and production processes. Feed and move aggregate materials throughout the site while maintaining proper material flow.

Load, stockpile, blend, and move sand, gravel, stone, and other aggregate materials. Perform daily equipment inspections and report mechanical or safety concerns to management. Assist with pit, roadway, stockpile, and general site maintenance. Perform basic equipment maintenance and housekeeping. Follow company safety procedures and applicable MSHA requirements.

Perform other aggregate pit duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous heavy equipment experience preferred. Experience with Bulldozer, Excavator, Skid Steer, Loaders, or Wash Plans is a plus. Aggregate, construction, excavation, or mining experience preferred. Safety-minded with good attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to regularly lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
