Job description

Posting Title: Neurologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹450,000 to ₹550,000 LPM Work Experience: 1 year Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including detailed medical histories and neurological examinations
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, neuropathies, and brain tumors
  • Interpret and analyze diagnostic tests including MRI, CT scans, EEG, EMG, and lumbar punctures
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity across treatment phases
  • Perform and interpret neurodiagnostic procedures as needed
  • Provide consultations for inpatient and outpatient neurological cases
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education
  • Contribute to teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and junior staff
  • Stay current with emerging research, guidelines, and innovations in neurology Requirements:
  • MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Neurology (DNB, MD in Neurology, or equivalent)
  • Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent) and active medical license
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or specialized neurological setting
  • Proven ability to diagnose and treat disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves
  • Strong clinical reasoning, diagnostic acumen, and patient communication skills
  • Proficiency in interpreting neuroimaging and neurophysiological studies
  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment protocols and guidelines
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and manage complex, time-sensitive cases
  • Commitment to ethical medical practice, patient safety, and continuous professional development
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties and emergency neurological consultations as required
