Posting Title: Neurologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹450,000 to ₹550,000 LPM Work Experience: 1 year Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including detailed medical histories and neurological examinations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, neuropathies, and brain tumors
- Interpret and analyze diagnostic tests including MRI, CT scans, EEG, EMG, and lumbar punctures
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity across treatment phases
- Perform and interpret neurodiagnostic procedures as needed
- Provide consultations for inpatient and outpatient neurological cases
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education
- Contribute to teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and junior staff
- Stay current with emerging research, guidelines, and innovations in neurology Requirements:
- MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Neurology (DNB, MD in Neurology, or equivalent)
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent) and active medical license
- Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or specialized neurological setting
- Proven ability to diagnose and treat disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves
- Strong clinical reasoning, diagnostic acumen, and patient communication skills
- Proficiency in interpreting neuroimaging and neurophysiological studies
- Familiarity with evidence-based treatment protocols and guidelines
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and manage complex, time-sensitive cases
- Commitment to ethical medical practice, patient safety, and continuous professional development
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties and emergency neurological consultations as required
