Maintenance Grounds Technician

Job Details: Salary Range: Undisclosed, SUMMARY Responsible for overseeing and performing repairs and general maintenance within the clubhouse grounds, including Painting, pressure washing, garbage/ rodent removal, furniture repairs, stucco/masonry. Proactively address maintenance issues to ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and in excellent condition.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Maintains and make general repairs to light fixtures, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, masonry, and painting. Conducts routine walk through for cleanliness of the outside grounds around the club. Pressure washing multiple walkways, dining area, and fountains around the club.

Keeps drainage areas around the building clear from debris. Completes work orders daily assigned by the manager. Maintains inventory of cleaning, maintenance repairs and related supplies. All other duties assigned by the Director of Facilities. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand for extended periods. The role also requires comfort with climbing and crawling through confined spaces. The employee must be able to use hands to handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and effectively communicate through speech and hearing.

The position involves both indoor and outdoor work environments, including exposure to cold and wet conditions. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements include close vision, color vision, and depth perception. High school diploma or equivalent require; technical or vocational training is a plus. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holiday as needed. Ability to use power tools, and regular hand tools. Ability to use lifts and work in high places.

Problem solving skills. The ability to use a work order system. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
