Springfield College invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Biology/Chemistry to teach ENVS 120 “Foundations of Sustainability” (3 credit hours) in Fall 2026. Located in the Biology/Chemistry department, this introductory-level course examines sustainability as “an interdisciplinary field that examines the interrelated environmental, economic, social and technological problems facing humans at local, regional and global scales.
This course takes a scientific approach to understanding sustainability: providing a foundation of the concepts, principles and tools from diverse fields that contribute to understanding and responding to problems such as climate...
