Online Ed/AcTech Technician

Position: HOURLY PROFESSIONAL –ONLINE EDUCATION & ACADEMIC TECHNOLOGY 20 HOURS A WEEK Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as the primary contact for faculty and students with questions or issues regarding the college's Learning Management System (LMS ) and academic technology for online, hybrid, in-person, and remote courses.

Coordinate with faculty, students and administrative departments to ensure timely communication, issue resolution and completion of required tasks. Provide support for course development, maintenance and digital accessibility. Provides technical and personalized in-person, telephone, technical (LMS, other software) and academic technology support to students, faculty and other departments to ensure success in online teaching and learning.

Act as a liaison to students, faculty and administrative staff with prompt communication and problem resolution to provide students with the correct information and direction to continue with their courses. Provide course development, maintenance and accessibility compliance Assist with all online education department documentation Perform other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Associate’s degree in computers studies or related areas.

At least two years of experience in the use of Learning Management System preferably Brightspace D2L Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 hour Include three (3) professional references (including names, phone numbers and e-mail addresses).
