ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor manufacturing processes for compliance to product specifications Inspect, handle and compound raw materials Perform operational checks on the product at the calendar. Assist in gathering required materials. Assist with scheduled preventative maintenance Assist in production change overs Operate all material handling equipment required for safe calendar operation.

Accurately complete production reports and logs. Ensure inventory control through detailed reporting Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Must have basic computer knowledge Must be able to operator compound machinery.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required. Able to carry out written and oral instructions. English written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of basic computer functions Possess basic math skills – add, subtract, read tape measure, perform time-based calculations, use calculator Works well with others in a team-based atmosphere Forklift experience a plus PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are the representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
