Python Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Python Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend applications and integrations for our clients across industries. You will work in agile project teams, collaborate with clients and cross-functional colleagues, and own features from design through deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop clean, efficient, and testable Python code for web applications, APIs, and automation solutions Build and consume RESTful APIs using Django, Flask, or FastAPI Design and optimize database schemas and queries (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB) Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, and internal systems Write unit and integration tests, and take part in code reviews Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues promptly Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, DevOps, and business analysts Document technical designs, APIs, and deployment procedures Contribute to estimation, sprint planning, and client status updates Requirements Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field 2+ years of hands-on professional experience in Python development Strong grasp of Python fundamentals, OOP, data structures, and algorithms Experience with at least one framework: Django, Flask, or FastAPI Working knowledge of SQL and ORMs (Django ORM, SQLAlchemy) Experience building and consuming REST APIs (JSON, authentication, versioning) Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows (branching, pull requests) Familiarity with Linux and the command line Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills Send your resume to jayram@star-knowledge.
