Job description
Position Summary
Provides excellent customer service while preparing, serving, and maintaining food stations. Creates a positive guest experience while following Quest food safety, sanitation, and service standards.
Essential Duties
& Responsibilities Prepare and serve menu items, including pizzas, deli items, salads, desserts, smoothies, and fresh fruit. Set up, maintain, and replenish food stations throughout meal periods. Slice meats and cheeses and prepare food according to established standards. Maintain accurate food temperature logs. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
Provide friendly, professional customer service. Work effectively as part of a team and maintain a clean, organized work area. Follow Quest policies and applicable state and local food safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience. Food service experience preferred, particularly in schools or higher education. Food Handler certification or ability to obtain certification as required. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Friendly, dependable, customer-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and use hands frequently. Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds. Ability to perform basic knife and food preparation skills. May work around heat, steam, noise, odors, cleaning chemicals, and walk-in freezers.
