Job Summary

SEACORP's Combat Systems Business Area is seeking a Software Engineer. Software Engineers research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. The candidate should have the ability to be a to work in a fast-paced work environments and are able to collaborate with others while being able to handle independent tasking.

Job Responsibilities

Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions. Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations. Participate in daily scrums, 2-3 week sprints, PI planning, demonstration and retrospective ceremonies. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.

Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

Ensures software standards are met.
