Forklift Operator

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced and careful Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be operating a forklift while ensuring efficiency and safety. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Operates forklift or other hand truck. Unloads materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacks them to assigned area.

Uses wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory. Adheres to quality and customer service standards set forth by the Company. Performs cycle counts as required. Picks, wraps, and stages orders to be shipped Inspects and performs maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment. Identifies safety hazards in the workplace.

Consolidates partial pallets for incoming good. Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma. Valid certification to operate forklifts preferred. 1-2 years of experience as forklift operator or similar role. Attention to detail. Good knowledge of industrial equipment. Excellent coordination. Good time-management skills.
