Job description
IT System Analyst – Budapest We are looking for an experienced IT System Analyst to join the Budapest-based technology team of our international partner, operating in a dynamic and multinational business environment. In this role, you will act as a key link between business stakeholders and software development teams, translating complex business requirements into clear functional specifications and supporting the successful delivery of enterprise-level IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business & System Analysis Analyze business needs and translate them into detailed system requirements and functional specifications. Understand complex business processes, identify system-related challenges and propose effective solutions. Analyze and document system functionalities, workflows and interfaces across integrated enterprise applications.
Prepare comprehensive functional documentation and system specifications to support software development activities. Solution Delivery & Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with software engineers, business stakeholders and international teams throughout the development lifecycle. Support solution validation by reviewing test cases and test execution results.
Prepare and deliver presentations to business stakeholders and clients. Provide internal knowledge-sharing sessions and training on system functionalities when required. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the optimization of business processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in IT System Analysis, Business Analysis or a similar role. Proven experience in preparing detailed functional specifications or applying structured modelling techniques of comparable complexity.
Solid understanding of transaction-based systems and complex enterprise applications. Confident knowledge of relational database concepts and SQL. Experience analyzing complex business processes, system requirements and integrations. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in an international business environment.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Analytical mindset, attention to detail, proactive attitude and strong team spirit. Advantages Experience working in Agile software development environments. German language skills.
