Senior Azure Application Developer

TeleSolv Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Azure Application Developer (Cloud-Native) to design, develop and support modern, scalable applications using Microsoft Azure. The successful candidate will bring significant hands-on experience developing cloud-native solutions with Azure App Service, Azure Functions and Azure SQL Managed Instance.

This position will develop scalable, serverless and event-driven applications, integrate enterprise systems and apply CI/CD, cloud security and secure-development best practices. The ideal candidate will combine strong C#/.NET application-development skills with practical experience building enterprise applications in Microsoft Azure environments.

Design, develop, test, deploy and support cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. Develop applications and services using C# and .NET. Design and implement REST APIs and enterprise application integrations. Build solutions using Azure App Service and Azure Functions. Develop solutions integrating Azure SQL Managed Instance and related data services.

Design scalable, serverless and event-driven architectures. Apply modern cloud application design patterns. Develop secure, highly available and maintainable enterprise applications. Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for application deployment. Integrate cloud applications with existing enterprise systems. Troubleshoot development, integration, deployment and production issues.

Participate in Agile development and DevOps processes. Support application modernization and migration initiatives. Apply cloud-security and secure-development best practices. Produce technical and application documentation. Collaborate with .NET developers, SQL DBAs, DevOps engineers, business analysts and other Government and contractor personnel.

Successful candidates should demonstrate expertise in: Microsoft Azure cloud-native application development C# and .NET Azure App Service Azure Functions Azure SQL Managed Instance REST API development and integration Serverless and event-driven architecture Modern application design patterns CI/CD pipelines Azure DevOps Enterprise application integration Application security and secure-development practices Agile/Scrum development practices Application modernization and migration Bachelor's degree.

5 to 8+ years of software/application development experience. Strong proficiency in C#/.NET. Strong experience developing and consuming REST APIs. Hands-on experience with Azure-native architecture. Experience implementing modern application design patterns. Experience developing enterprise applications within Microsoft Azure environments.

Ability to support the required Washington, DC, work arrangement. Ability to successfully complete the Government-required criminal-history check, fingerprinting and contractor-badging processes.
