Church Nursery

Trinity Klein Lutheran Church is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Nursery Worker to provide a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for young children while their parents participate in worship, Bible study, or other church activities.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive and loving care to infants and young children. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming nursery environment. Supervise children at all times and respond appropriately to their individual needs. Engage children in age-appropriate activities, play, and conversation. Comfort children and assist with feeding, diapering, and other basic needs as appropriate.

Follow all church policies and procedures related to child safety and supervision. Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents and church staff. Maintain confidentiality regarding children and families. Report any safety concerns, incidents, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate staff member.

Qualifications

Previous experience caring for infants and young children preferred. Must be dependable, patient, responsible, and comfortable working with children. Ability to provide a warm and caring environment for children and families. Must be willing to follow all church child-safety policies and procedures. Must successfully complete required background screening and child-safety training.

Schedule Part-time / As Needed Primarily during Sunday worship services and other scheduled church activities. Additional hours may be available based on church programming and events.
