The Council Bluffs Community School District is seeking applicants for Substitute Teacher positions for the 2026-2027 school year! Position: Substitute Teacher Location: Various CBCSD School Locations Rate of Pay: $22.50 per hour, with increased rates for qualifying long-term assignments Required Qualifications: Valid Iowa Teaching License, Substitute License, or Substitute Authorization Why Substitute with CBCSD?

Additional Employment Information: Substitute teachers are hired and employed directly by the Council Bluffs Community School District. Individuals currently employed through Kelly Education must apply directly with CBCSD to be considered for district employment.
