Tire and Lube Technician

Job Description: University Tire & Auto Service has been providing superior automotive repair and maintenance to our customers throughout the Los Angeles area for over 40 years. The company is seeking a motivated Tire and Lube Technician to join our team! Schedule: 40 hours/week. The shift does not fluctuate daily / weekly.

Work only 5 days/week. We can work around your existing commitments (family, school, etc.)

Qualifications

ASE Certifications (Not required, but a plus). Smog Certified (Not required, but a plus). U.S. Citizen or Green Card. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. At least 1 year of previous experience in a retail shop environment.

Responsibilities

Conducting thorough and accurate courtesy inspections. Accurately documenting all findings in repair orders. Performing quality control procedures. Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Cleaning work space to facilitate safe and efficient service. Maintaining / cleaning shop equipment as needed.

Identifying preventative maintenance services. Following TSB's and repair procedures. Willingness to perform a wide variety of automotive repairs and services. Performing other functions as assigned or as the situation requires. About University Tire & Auto Service: We are a large, independent automotive repair facility near downtown USC / Los Angeles.
