Corporate Legal Assistant

Description Devine Millimet seeks an experienced Legal Assistant to support Devine’s Corporation Department in Manchester. We were established in 1947 and provide a full range of legal services to our private and public sector clients from offices located in Manchester, Concord, and Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The Firm’s Corporate Department represents its clients in general corporate matters, real estate, taxation, mergers and acquisition, finance and other commercial transactions, estate planning, ESOP and ERISA work and other matters.

Responsibilities

This position will support multiple attorneys in the Corporate Department by performing duties such as: Opening/closing files Copying, scanning & filing (paper & electronic) Preparation of documents for closing and compilation of closing books Contacting clients Organize, analyze, and compile information Collect and record exhibits Proofreading Mailing Other administrative tasks as needed Requirements 3+ years of experience as a Corporate Legal Assistant Excellent technical skills Experience in Microsoft Office Products, including Adobe Strong organizational skills Ability to prioritize assignments for multiple attorneys Accurate closing document preparation and compilation of bookmarked PDF closing books Outstanding proofreading skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Exceptional problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication Devine Millimet offers competitive salaries and attractive growth opportunities, along with an excellent benefits package.
